OUR COVID-19 RESPONSE IN GERMANY

We have now completed our COVID-19 operations in Germany.

During our response, MSF teams provided advice on infection prevention and control measures to organisations, volunteer groups and state institutions working with vulnerable people. This training allowed these groups to continue providing support to people particularly at risk during the COVID-19 crisis, including people experiencing homelessness and refugees,.

Our teams also provided mental health support and health education activities in a centre for asylum seekers in Halberstadt, Saxony-Anhalt.

Right now, Médecins Sans Frontières is providing much needed support and medical care in over 70 countries to counter the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our teams are also gearing up to confront potential outbreaks in the hundreds of areas we were already working before the pandemic struck. We are deploying medical staff, sending supplies and applying nearly 50 years of experience fighting epidemics to protect the most vulnerable and save lives.
